On a Bus With a Trainer

Another bus, another game. This time I was playing a real classic, Pokemon Emerald. Now I really enjoy Pokemon games, I find the way Pokemon level up both fun and challenging. When a Pokemon evolves a sudden burst of joy overcomes you, and no, that's not a metaphor for anything. The starter Pokemon are of the typical variety, fire, water, and grass types. Straight away, just by the selection of the Pokemon you have decided the difficulty. The apposing Trainer always picks the Pokemon that can easily defeat yours, just to make things more challenging. However what some people also forget is that you have a first gym battle. In the older Pokemon games I always picked water. Why? because most of the time the first gym leader specialise in rock type Pokemon. So choosing a Fire Pokemon would make the game more difficult. One thing I almost forgot about Emerald is that its a extended version of Sapphire and Ruby, unfortunately I haven't played either, so what I say next may be redundant, but I did a lot of research. The only down side to the game is when you capture the Legendary Pokemon. You capture him at lvl 70, so defeating the next gym leaders becomes far too easy. I was very disappointed by this, I put a lot of hard work into raising the lvls of my Pokemon, so it feels almost a waist of time. I know what some people may be thinking  "just don't use  him!" well tuff, I'm too lazy too work harder. Still with every Pokemon game I have played, I recomend it.
