Sorry about the lack of posts

Sorry about the lack of reviews I have had so much college work I have had little time, but then the time I have had has been spent doing video blogs. So here is my review of Infinity blade. It is a game exclusive for Apple and is only playable of IPhones after and including the 3GS, also both IPads and IPod Touch3rd generation. It is quite pricey at £3.99. This aside it is one of the best games I have ever played on the IPod. I play it on the IPhone 4 and once loaded it is smooth and very quick responses. Its level of graphics is unparalleled on the IPhone, easily the best i have seen. The game play is very easy to master (dodge buttons, block button, swipe to attack and parry) and you fight through to the God King who you fight. If you beat you fight again all enemies’ higher levels. The problem with the game is that it get repetitive after a while, they try to combat this with mastering items to give you points to upgrade, however mastering the item does nothing to the item itself. Ultimately i rate this game a 7 out of ten, definitely worth the £4 as it is a game that you play for about 2 weeks solid then leave it for about 2-3 months then fall in love it again.
The new way to play!

So I was looking around the Internet, you know, as you do. Then I came across something a bit different. N-Control Avenger is a mounting exo-skeleton for your console controller. First thoughts were "oh my god that's soo cool!" and that still hasn't changed. OK, now I want to get this right, so I'm just going to quote (copy and paste) from the avenge website (https://avengercontroller.com/store/avenger.html)
"The Avenger is an external adapter that houses the existing Xbox 360® controller, helping to improve your situational awareness, accuracy, agility, and reaction time. The Avenger allows for rapid, fluid movements between individual buttons and analogue sticks. Equipped with a stabilizer stand, customizable levers, high-precision tension straps, hair-trigger capabilities, and sensitivity adjusters, the Avenger can be fine-tuned like an instrument."
Now at first I was skeptical, as this sounded to good to be true. Thinking about it however, it seems believable. So I actually recommend getting it. At £45 or $60 it's worth any kind of advantage online. Also it's just in time for the releas of Modenrwarefare 3. Just to point out though it is also avaliable for the PS3, however it doesnt look as cool!

So Plantman let me borrow his Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and I got bored almost instantly. Other than the first mission, the entire game is basically destroy this, blow up this, run here. At first I was like " that's alright, there just showing off the destructibility of the map" however after doing the same thing 6 times I became bored. I also didn't really find the sprinting mechanic very good, it felt clunky and unreliable. However it was a big step up from the first game. What I did like mind was that almost every gun had a grenade launcher, so destroying everything was easy. I do miss the more humorous side of the first game. Still after all this the multi player is pretty good, so all and all I do actually recommend it, just not for the campain. P.S dont forget to subscribe to the channel and follow us on facebook or twitter, thanks.

Mario knows football?!

Ok so I'm probably going to do the reviews with videos this way. I'm planning on writting reviews while doing videos to accompany them. First off, Mario has been tossed about by Nintendo so many times to get more money. Most of the time these games are terrible, and should have never hit the shelves. However Mario Strikes charge football actually turned out really well. I really enjoy the diffrent maps, along with the idea of diffrent types of players. However I don't want to praise Nintendo too much, as they may make another terrible Mario Galaxy. Anyway, the video is on my account, but from now on it's going on Plantmans.

OK, so let's see. Plantman is going to review another review, on some game I've never heard of. Sorry that I haven't been posting. I am currently getting all the software for the recording, while Plantman gets all the software for editing. (Hint Plantman, get the software quicker) Anyway I know it's probably not very important, but when I do the recordings my gamer tag will be on screen. So please feel free to add me. Doesn't mean I'm going to accept it, but feel free. Anyway check back in about a week for a good quality vid of me failing.

Not like Minecraft

Hi readers Plantman here with my first blog. I play online games a lot and one of the games I keep going back to is a game called GemCraft Chapter 0. It is one of the most addictive games I have ever played. It is a tower defence game in which you build towers and traps, then make gems and place them in the towers and traps. You create and combine gems to create more powerful ones. The point of the game is to release the Gem Of Eternity. I see this part of the game as near impossible and i just play with the aim of doing all the other levels on every mode. There are around 70 levels in the game and most of them have 10 modes meaning that you have around 650 stages to do. They gave also released GemCraft on the IPod touch/IPhone and now I spend even more of my time on GemCraft series. It is a very good game series, I recommend it to all.
It's a revelation!

Before the multiplayer review of assassins creed:revelations, I'd just like to let you know a guest writer is going to do a review at the weekend. Plantman, the same guy I do the videos with, is going to be reviewing gem craft, and if I can persuade him he'll do it again . For those who haven't heard of it. Just look it up, its really addictive. Anyway, revalations. Lots of people loved the sound of a multiplayer in assassins creed, but were disappointed by the tedious game play of brotherhood. Well, they really have outdone themselves on the multiplayer this time round. The game really flows, and with the new game types its easy to see why. Team deathmatch was a real fan favourite. Two teams take turns to hunt each other down like wild animals! Like the first multiplayer, its very difficult to tell who's who, so players must choose carefully before they strike. Another new game type is capture the flag. Getting the flag and springing to the goal is very difficult, and taking to the rooftops is suicide, so a mixture of running and blending is thy key to winning. All in all, the multiplayer is definately something I would play. Unlike the brotherhood multiplayer, that I wouldn't even poke with a stick. Now for my dedicated readers, you know who you are. I'd like to thank you for reading, please look me up on Facebook or Twitter, and recommend me to all your mates who might like me. Just type Someguy2U on Facebook or Twitter.

I forgot

Sorry forgot about this bit of news. Nazi Zombies has changed. I don't know when they did it, but they did. Check out the older maps and see, a new perk is available. Mule Kick. Mule Kick cost a hefty 4000 points, however if you can afford it and get lucky with the magic box, you will survive a lot longer. However if you die, you loose far too many points. The only thing I don't like about it, is that at the moment the jingle is off. I love the funny little songs that the perks give off, kinda lightens the mood. Anyway check out the new maps and see for yourself. I don't know if they will put more perks in the older map, but I hope they do. Since it could really make the game then times more fun!
Also sorry but seem to have a problem with the highlight feature, so yeah...

OK, first off. I have ordered a caption card, so I can record off the xbox. So there will be more videos on YouTube of me and my mate, if you haven't seen are first video I've put the video below. Now for some real news. For those who would have loved to play Trenched but are in Europe, your time has come! Search Iron Brigade into google ( you may need to put xbox as well, as its something to do with ww2) and you will find the newly branded Trenched. For 1200 MP you can have this brilliant game! Anyway keep checking back for more reviews, and keep looking at Plant mans YouTube channel to see some funny videos of my bad gaming skills.
